days 2 and 3 of the 30-day abs challenge are past us, and we've (whew!) reached the first rest day, also known as day 4. hopefully you completed day 2:

and let me just say: these were CRUCIAL. like, ow. i had to take breaks in the middle of the sit-ups and the leg raises (though i got through crunches and planks without having to pause). i'm hugely grateful to have a rest day today.
today ends up being a rest day for me in terms of running, too, but not because i planned it that way. levi slept from 9pm-530am today (first time for so long, woohoo!), and i ended up needing to nurse him during the time i normally would be running. we're still working on the morning schedule with so many changes with school, work, and a new baby, and i just plain ran out of time. i figured it was more important to my co-workers that i come in after showering than after running, so i chose showering.
good choice, i think. back to it tomorrow for day 5:
