i never thought much about my abs until i didn't have any.
when my first son was born, i had an unanticipated c-section and literally could not stand up straight for nearly two weeks. sometimes we treat c-sections like they're no big deal, probably because they're so common, but they are MAJOR SURGERY. when your abdominal muscles are cut, they pretty much stop working. other muscles adjust, but it takes time, and you just don't realize how much you rely on your core until you can't trust it to hold you up anymore.
two c-sections later, it's time to deal with the fallout. honestly, i should've been dealing with it after each surgery from the beginning, but it's water under the bridge, right?
i'm starting the 30-day abs challenge on monday.
watch the tutorials for each move, and then complete each day's exercises on your own timetable (EDIT: i meant at whatever time of day works best, not any ol' day you please). i'll post the routine for each day, and you can post a comment as to whether you completed it or not, how it went, how you're feeling, etc.
join me?
