so yesterday i looked at the day's exercises and was all like, 'yeah, i can totally do that'. which was technically true, but WOW was it harder than i thought. i'm definitely sore today.
several comments from yesterday, as well as my own experience, bring up a great point about sit-ups; don't be afraid to 'cheat' a little by anchoring your feet. this is not a moral failing. the important thing is to work your abs, and you can't do that if you're physically unable to do the exercises at all. hopefully we'll all be doing unanchored sit-ups by the end (or, at least, they'll be unanchored until we just can't keep going anymore, at which point we'll find the couch with our toes again!).
today simply adds a little more on top of yesterday ('simply' DOES NOT equal 'easily'!):
20 sit-ups
8 crunches
5 leg raises
12-second plank
today's exercises will happen in the late afternoon for me, but tomorrow it's back to morning because i will be......drumroll.......going back to work for the first time since may. this has been a crazy week and will only get crazier.
how did today's abs challenge go for you?
